Pelham Medical Center (PMC) became the iconic visual reference of the Pelham community this morning when the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System rebranded for the former Village of Pelham Hospital.

“As part of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, this campus is a part of a larger system,” said Anthony (Tony) Kouskolekas, President of Pelham Medical Center. “When we work as a team, we’re able to provide a full spectrum of services to our patients, not just in Greer, but also across the Upstate.”

The growth of the medical center includes the Gibbs Cancer Center & Research Institute and the physicians of the Medical Group of the Carolinas in a building across from the PMC campus.

Kouskolekas, Mark Aycock, COO of SRHS, and Greer Mayor Rick Danner cut the ceremonial ribbon at 10:30 Monday.

“Pelham Medical Center is committed to caring for the health of the people in this community, we are also here when additional capabilities are needed, ensuring seamless transitions from one point of care to the next,” Aycock said.
