Proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish for the Upstate’s 20 pending wishes. “The average cost of a wish is $6,500 and most wishes involve travel. Through a community effort, The Reach for the Stars Pageant will not only bring awareness to the Upstate, but will also give children an opportunity to give back in a fun way,” said Beth Taylor, pageant coordinator.
