Restaurants offer vets, active duty military discounts
Many restaurants will be celebrating Veterans Day by offering discounts and free meals to veterans and active duty military in appreciation for their service. Unless noted restaurant are offering specials on Veterans Day only.

Veterans and active military personnel may be asked for:

  • Proof of military service
  • Are dine-in only
  • Do not include alcohol
  • Can not be used with other coupons or discounts
  • Do not include gratuity

Also, for some restaurant chains, participating locations may vary. Check with local restaurant for further details. And call a restaurant in advance and call other favorite restaurants to see if they offer veterans or active duty personnel specials.

Applebee’s Complimentary full-size entrée from an exclusive menu created just for them. Free meal for all veterans and active military members on November 11th. Craft Republic will also hand out a $5 bonus card to all veterans and active military members that can be used from 11/12/2021 through 12/31/2021. The free meal has a value of $15.

Denny’s Veterans can enjoy a free Build Your Own Grand Slam Thursday, November 11th from 5am – noon at participating locations. One of Denny’s signature breakfast entrees, the Build Your Own Grand Slam includes a choice of four delicious items for a fully customizable breakfast. And with more than 10 choices — such as fluffy buttermilk pancakes, eggs cooked to order, bacon strips, buttermilk biscuits and hash browns– there is something for everyone.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Free Pulled Pork Sandwich to veterans who use the code VETFREE. Veterans can redeem the offer in-store for carryout and online for pickup all day at their nearest Dickey’s.

Golden Corral On Thursday, Nov. 11, America’s #1 buffet and grill is inviting all active duty and retired U.S. military personnel to visit their nearest Golden Corral to enjoy a free dinner buffet and beverage from 5pr – close. Additionally, Golden Corral will raise funds through guest contributions for DAV (Disabled American Veterans) from Nov. 4-11.

Hard Rock Cafes Free original Legendary Steak Burger topped with applewood bacon, cheddar cheese, a crispy onion ring, leaf lettuce and vine-ripened tomato. The free legendary burger offer is available all day long this Veterans Day for any active or retired military member with valid ID. Military members can also enjoy Hard Rock Cafe’s 15% off military discount on any other items.

Hooters On Thursday, November 11, all veterans who present a military ID or proof of service and purchase a beverage at any participating Hooters location nationwide will receive a free entrée from the Hooters Veterans Day Menu (available for dine-in only). The Hooters Veterans Day Menu includes five of Hooters’ most popular entrées including: Buffalo Chicken Salad, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Hooters Burger, and 10-Piece Boneless Wings.

Shoney’s Free All You Care To Eat, freshly-prepared Breakfast Bar on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from open -11am. Shoney’s Veterans Day offer is dine-in only. There is a limit of one Breakfast Bar per military member and proof of military service is highly recommended.

Starbucks Free tall (12-ounce) hot brewed coffee for veterans, military service members and military spouses at participating U.S. Starbucks stores on Nov. 11. For every cup of hot brewed coffee sold nationwide that day, Starbucks is also donating 25 cents to be divided evenly between Headstrong and Team Red, White & Blue to support the mental health and the wellbeing of military communities.
