Riverside will travel to Blue Ridge for a football game that has been rescheduled for Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
The Clinton versus Greer game at Dooley Field remains as scheduled on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Officials decided to move the game with Tropical Storm Hermine expected to move farther inland on Friday, bringing potentially 1-3 inches of rain as far west as the Upstate, Most of the threat is south of I-85, according to weather reports.
Blue Ridge has been prone to flooding due during heavy rains in the past.
Riverside and Blue Ridge are 1-1 in non-region games. Thursday’s game is also a non-region matchup.
Blue Ridge has been outscored in its first two games, 44-29, that included Belton-Honea Path’s 41-0 win over BRHS in the season-opener. BRHS beat Landrum last week 29-3.
Riverside has been outscored 37-20. The Warriors edge Travelers Rest 7-3 in the opener and lost to rival Eastside, 34-13.
The Blue Ridge at Riverside jayvee game scheduled for Thursday night has been cancelled.
