Eastside's Davaris McGowens is the Class 3A player of the year for the No. 1 ranked Eagles. Ironically, Shiflet's three-point basket from near half-court at Greer with under two seconds remaining handed Eastside its only defeat of the season. Eastside hosts Fort Mill in the second round of the Class 3A playoffs.
