Cody Fields has a new line of three preamp and direct input pedals, one each for acoustic, bass, and electric guitars, is now available.
Cody Fields, a Lyman, native and owner of Noseminster, builds three guitar effects brands out of his home, going so far as to powdercoat in his laundry room. Each of his brands fills a different niche to both diversify his offerings and cast a wider net on the industry.
Fields started Westminster Effects in 2015 after leaving a social media marketing job with an emphasis on marketing to church and worship musicians. Each guitar pedal is themed with a famous theologian or theological concept in an effort to encourage musicians to delve deeper into their faith.
In 2017, Fields then acquired NosePedal, a custom pedalboard solutions company founded in Nashville. NosePedal specializes in both utility accessories and modifying already existing effects units.
Fields also acquired Native Pedal Co. this year, which features simple circuits and can best be described as “budget boutique.”
A new line of three preamp and direct input pedals, one each for acoustic, bass, and electric guitars, is now available. They’re catered toward the ever-increasing production demands of live sound and the desire for low stage volume. Preliminary video demos for two of the three new products can be heard here and here. Pre-orders for the new products start on June 25 at westminstereffects.com.
Those attending NAMM can check out Noseminster’s products at booth 2002, which is being shared with BAS Instruments, the company behind Lyman Guitars.
