GMC Student Government Representative
I am a Student Government Representative from Greer Middle College Charter High School. Our Spirit Week is quickly approaching, and we want to make sure the community is aware of the exciting events we have planned for the week.
This year's Spirit Week is from Nov. 9 to Nov. 16. We are so excited for this year and for all the exciting events we have planned for our students, parents, and the community. While many of our events are student-focused, there are many ways for the community to get involved and we need their support to reach our goal of $40,000.
Community Events
In addition, we have Profit Shares at different restaurants throughout the week. See calendar on this page.
• Yard Sale is on Saturday from 7:30 a.m.-noon. This will take place at our school (138 W. McElhaney Road, Taylors), rain or shine. The Pancake Breakfast is the same morning from 7:30-10:30 a.m., $5 per plate.
• Our Powder Puff Game is open to the public and will be held on Friday, at East Riverside Park at 5 p.m.•
• Movie Night will be held Sunday at GMC starting at 7:30 p.m. The movie will be voted on by those attending. Bring your favorite chair or blanket.
This year, a portion of the money raised during Spirit Week will go to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We are so excited for the opportunity to give back to our community. The remainder of our profits will go towards completing projects to finish our new school building.
