The South Carolina Forensic Coaches Association’s Speech and Debate Championship was held in North Charleston. Bob Jones Academy finished third overall.
Stegall and Sullivan will compete in May in the National Tournament of Champions Tournament in San Antonio, Texas.
Mary McDonald and Jonathan Savoy of Greer also earned placements.
After five rounds of competition against top competitors in the state, the following students advanced to elimination rounds and then on to placing in the state:
