It’s the second time Jason Clark’s restaurants, BIN112 previously received the designation, have been honored by the online business.
The award recognizes hospitality excellence worldwide and is given to businesses that consistently earn high ratings. “It’s very exciting to have ‘world’ come before our restaurant’s name,” Clark said. “It’s great restaurants in a small town get recognition.”
The award is presented to the top performing 10 percent of all businesses linked to TripAdvisor.
Clark is active responding to customers’ reviews and will interact on their comments, forward praise to his staff and remedy suggestions with an action plan. “We are very active with our customers when they comment online,” Clark said.
Clark had key members of his restaurants take CPR training two months ago from the Greer Fire Department to be certified in the life-saving technique.
To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor, and must have been listed on the web site for at least 12 months. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.
“The Certificate of Excellence award provides top performing establishments around the world the recognition they deserve, based on feedback from those who matter most – their customers,” Alison Copus, VP of Marketing, for the company.
Mutts BBQ Restaurant, owned by Randy Jones, Dellaventura’s Ristorante and Pizza, have received the company’s designation in the past.
