Crafts stations were set up over the lawn at City Park Saturday during Halloween Hoopla. This station provided all the colors of beads of the rainbow for children to make bracelet.

Merchants opened scores of bags of candy for children and parents dressed to celebrate Halloween. A pumpkin carving was held at the Greer Trading Post and a Thriller dance contest drew a Michael Jackson look-a-like at The Davenport.
The Greer Station Association promotion drew the largest crowd of families and children for this event than ever before.
Freedom Fellowship Church and City of Greer held Halloween Hoopla at City Park featuring karaoke, kid’s craft station, Candy Lane and the showing of “Casper” at the amphitheater.
But the party is hardly over. A Fall Festival will be held at Greer First Baptist Church on Wednesday from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Alex Hunnicutt will provide the music.
The event features an inflatables obstacle course, bungee run and bounce house. A firetruck from the city of Greer, a face painting artist and a balloon twister making characters. Trunk or treating will be held throughout the event. Healthy treats from Earth Fare, gift bags from Greer Pediatric Dental Care and the Chick-fil-A cow will be at the event.
