Bunny Sedmont will release her first published novel 6-9 p.m. on May 31 at a book signing at the Stomping Grounds in Greer. “Trinity’s New Song” is a Christian romance book.
The back jacket of the book illustrates its theme:
“When Mac Weaver dies unexpectedly, his wife and best friend are thrown together in grief. An unlikely friendship. Trinity Weaver is now a beautiful widow, clinging to her faith in God. Jackson Ingram, a hard-hearted unbeliever, has become her one true friend in her time of sorrow.
“The friendship deepens. Trinity falls for Jackson, but she knows she could never give her heart to an unbeliever. Jackson is in love with Trinity, but Mac's death makes him question the existence of God. Will Jackson's path lead him to Trinity? And to God?”
Sedmont uses her maiden name as author. She is a social worker at a Greenville elementary school and also writes songs and travels with her husband, Arvie Bennett, Jr.’s band. The couple has six children.
The Bennetts have begun a ministry – Grace Windfall.
Arvie will perform an acoustic concert at Bunny’s book signing.
