Larry Wilson, chairman of Partnership for Tomorrow, will be the Grand Marshal of the Greer Christmas Parade.
Wilson and his wife, Linda, will lead the parade through Greer on Sunday Dec. 6 at 2:30 p.m.
Greer Relief made the announcement Monday.
Wilson was vice president of State Auto Insurance Companies. In January 2009, after 44 years of service, he retired and shifted his focus to the future of Greer through Partnership for Tomorrow (PFT).
Wilson serves on PFT’s oversight committee, the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee, and as Treasurer on the Greer Development Corporation Board.
The Wilsons have been married for 29 years, have four children and nine grandchildren.
The 2015 Greer Christmas Parade “An International Christmas” will feature over 75 parade units including community groups, businesses and marching bands.
The parade lineup will be available on Dec. 2.
