It will be roaring lions outside Pathfinders' tents that will get the attention of campers at Hollywild Friday through Sunday.

The youth leadership training outreach program of Seventh Day Adventist churches will be holding their Carolina Conference at the animal theme reserve and park Friday through Sunday. More than 200 are expected to attend.

“Our theme for this weekend is “Wild About Jesus II,” Tim Blake, area coordinator for the conference, said. “I can think of no better place to learn about Jesus and his creation than through the educational opportunities given to us by Hollywild. It is our goal again to leave Hollywild a better place because the Pathfinders were here as we will be doing many service projects requested by Hollywild,” Blake said.

The Pathfinders’ first event at Hollywild was a fall campout in 2012.
