A $30 million cargo facility is being built at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport that will bring a significant increase in cargo, jobs and will be able to accommodate several large aircraft at the same time.
The 110,000-square-foot warehouse and 13-acre cargo ramp are scheduled to open in the spring of 2019. It will be able to accommodate three Boeing 747-800 aircraft simultaneously.
Passengers flying out of Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) are now able to take a shuttle from the economy parking lots to the terminal. Those using the garages will be able to better find open parking spots, too.
GSP’s parking upgrades include an overflow parking lot, an expanded cell phone lot, a new parking guidance system for the airport’s garages and shuttle bus service from GSP’s Economy Lots.
