Greer City Park erupted with energy and festivity Saturday as thousands of people turned out for the 8th Annual Greer Freedom Blast.
Sgt. Randle Ballenger wears his uniforms proudly. Both as an Army National Guard sergeant and traffic sergeant with the Greer Police Department.
Greer City Park will be the place to be this coming Saturday evening, June 25th. There will be kids activities, live music from the Country Rock band Early Ray, a military tribute, and Round 3 of the Greer Idol contest.
Don't forget the Rib Eating Contest, and of course the Fireworks.

Greer Idol Season 10 is down to 10 singers entering Saturday’s performance at the City of Greer Freedom Blast.
Kerri Hill and Anri Ballew were eliminated in voting by family, friends and people attending Greer last Friday.
The 2016 Freedom Blast Festival will honor Preston Johnson a Vietnam veteran whose service included leadership at both the local and state levels of Disabled American Veterans.
The festival is Saturday June 25, 6-10:30 p.m.
