Twenty-nine celebrities, including six first-time participants, will be in Greenville the week of May 11 for the 2015 BMW Charity Pro-Am.
In addition to the participating celebrities, tournament officials also announced the lineup for the free Celebrity Concert on Main. The concert is open to the public and will be held on Main Street on May 14 from 6-10 p.m.
Suzanne Koty, an English teacher at Sumter High School, was named 2015/2016 South Carolina Teacher of the Year.
Koty was handed the keys to a Greer-produced 2015 mineral white metallic BMW X5 xDrive35i she will drive throughout South Carolina as the state’s public education ambassador.

In fact production by BMW Manufacturing Co., of the popular X5 and X6 in Greer, helped make March and the first quarter of 2015 a record.
Greer is rated the fourth-best place to start a business in South Carolina, according to NerdWallet, a personal finance website.
Jeff Chu, the analyst who conducted the study, cited business climate (average revenue of businesses, percentage of businesses with paid employees and number of businesses per 100 people, and local economic health (median annual income, median annual housing costs and unemployment rate).
