The event is managed by Blue Ridge students and volunteers who oversee hay rides, animal exhibits and a plant sale.
Flats and singles of vegetables and flowering plants will be available for sale. Live entertainment will accompany the locally smoked BBQ lunch. Antique and new tractors will be on display along with other equipment exhibits. The South Carolina Farm Bureau is supplying an Ag Simulator which takes the rider on a combine harvesting the crops.
The Lindsey Plantation, located at 750 Camp Creek Road, Taylors was established in the 1830’s. Currently it is a commercial beef cattle and hay operation.
