School Enforcement Investigators have charged a Blue Ridge Middle School student with Student Threats after uncovering a group text thread that involved the suspect making statements about bringing a gun to school.

The 13-year-old student was identified and pulled from school and subsequently charged on Wednesday..

Investigators initiated the investigation earlier today after the information concerning the messages was brought to them. No gun or weapon was found on the student.                =            ==
