The Greer Police Department arrested the younger brother of a Greer teen, and both have been charged with attempted murder, according to Capt. Patrick Fortenberry with the GPD.
Jerry Nathaniel Dodd, 18, of Greer was arrested Wednesday evening on outstanding warrants with the GPD. A day earlier Jeffrey Tykei Dodd, 19, was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
Jeffrey Dodd, was charged with shooting a Greer victim at Brushy Creek Townhomes, at 3 a.m. on Saturday, January 21. Jeffrey Dodd allegedly shot the victim twice, once in the abdomen and once in the leg as the victim approached him during the car break-in, according to warrants issued by the GPD.
Jeffrey Dodd left the scene in a vehicle at a high rate of speed, according to the GPD report.
According to Fortenberry, Jerry Dodd was charged with accessory after the fact to felony, criminal conspiracy, and three counts of breaking into a motor vehicle.
Jeffrey Dodd, arrested late Tuesday afternoon, was arrested on outstanding warrants. He was charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during violent crime, and criminal conspiracy.
