It’s Brushy Creek’s turn to get some vacant fill-in property for new homes.
Two separate parcels were approved by City Council Tuesday night that may see the construction of 136 townhouses on Brushy Creek Road. Council approved multi-family residential annexation that are virtually across each other.
A Greenville County Schools official tentatively identified them both in the Riverside High School area at an earlier Planning Advisory Committee.
Council approved residential multi-family or 21.05 acres to construct 84 single family attached dwellings.
Also approved for single family homes was 9.81 acres located at the intersection of Brushy Creek Road and Alexander Road to construct 52 dwellings.
The planning commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 16. City Council may have second readings May 24.
