Cassidy Norris, a softball player with Blue Ridge High School, signed with North Greenville University in a Wednesday morning ceremony attended by the school band, seniors and family and friends.
Norman Norris, father, Lisa, mother, and Jordyn, sister, attended the signing.
Norris said she picked NGU to be close to home and play softball. “I plan to study elementary education,” Norris said.
Erica McCarson, the assistant softball coach, attended the ceremony.
