A man who law enforcement officials identified as the suspect from a shooting incident in the parking lot of a QuikTrip in Greer on April 17, has been returned to Greer from Savannah, Ga.
Detectives with the Greer Police Department took Justin Makario Jackson, 24, into custody today in Savannah after he waived extradition back to South Carolina.
Three warrants for Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime, and Domestic Violence of a High and Aggravated Nature will be served on Jackson in Greer.

A man who law enforcement officials identified as the suspect from a shooting incident in the parking lot of a QuikTrip in Greer has been arrested in Savannah, Ga.
The Greer Police Department identified Justin Makario Jackson, 24, of Sanford, N.C., as the suspect from the shooting incident last Friday in the parking lot of QuikTrip located at 2414 S. Hwy. 14, GPD detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division have secured three warrants on Jackson, 24, for Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime, and Domestic Violence of a High and Aggravated Nature, according to Capt. Patrick Fortenberry of the GPD.
It is believed that Jackson and the victim had been in a recently ended relationship, according to Fortenberry. Greer detectives learned that Jackson went to the victim's place of employment, the City of Greenville, where he approached her vehicle and had her move to the passenger side while holding a firearm, according to Fortenberry.
Jackson then started to drive towards Charlotte and stopped at the QuikTrip in Greer to get some gas for the vehicle. At QuickTrip, the victim tried to run away from the vehicle when Jackson shot her, according to Fortenberry.
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment, admitted and remains there.
Fortenberry said, Greer detectives worked with several other agencies to locate Jackson in Savannah, Ga. The Savannah Police Department arrested Jackson on Saturday, April 15. The GPD is working on extraditing Jackson back to South Carolina so that his criminal warrants can be served on him. Jackson is being held in the Chatham County (Ga.) jail.
