Dance Vision students will be in the spotlight at the Grand Ole Opry in March dancing on the historic stage.
Felicia Abbot announced that a select group of her students will make a two-day whirlwind trip to Nashville, Tenn., to perform during a matinee production at the Opry.
The Performing Arts Educators issued the inaugural invitation. The PAE has brought together dances from around the country to venues such as The Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall and past Olympics. DanceVisions is considering performing at the 2016 Brazil Olympics.
“We are going to embrace this opportunity and enjoy every minute of this,” said owner/instructor Felicia Abbott. “We will even have a backstage tour. Not every dancer can say that they have performed at the Grand Ole Opry.”
“Dance is forever changing and more opportunities are on the horizon for us, so when an opportunity arrives like this one we are thrilled to participate to learn, grow, and make great memories as a team and a dance family,” said Abbott.
