Dial is a 22-year-old from Spartanburg. She sang “I Believe” for the talent competition.

Sarah Hamrick was crowned Miss South Carolina Teen 2015 on Friday. Hamrick, 17, from Cowpens, attends Broome High School. She sang “Live Out Loud” for the talent competition, Hamrick will compete in America’s Outstanding Teen Pageant in August in Orlando, Fla.
Dial is the second straight winner who attended Clemson. Lanie Hudson, also a Clemson graduate, was Miss South Carolina 2014. Hudson was also a former Miss Greater Greer.
The televised event on FOX momentarily switched to its regular programming when the pageant went several minutes over its 10:30 p.m. scheduled finish.
Dial will compete in the Miss America Pageant in mid-September in Atlantic City, N.J.
