It’s easy to be grateful for the big moments in your life, but in the day-to-day craziness, sometimes we forget to be grateful for all of the people and the little things in life that make us happy.

Besides being grateful for my family . . . especially my late mother, Bobbie Wood Hawkins,  I am grateful for good health.

My mom passed away at 57 years old in 1988 before we knew the benefits of healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle. God gave me the opportunity to be a part of a community that teaches and cares about living life to the fullest by leading us towards the healthiest lifestyle that we can by reducing our weight first.

As Dr. Wayne Andersen states “just by lowering your weight 10 percent, you can lower your risk of disease by 50 percent."

Isn't good health something we all as mothers and fathers want to share with our children . . . for our children?

I am grateful for you! Thank you for being a part of this journey towards optimal health.

Have a wonderful weekend!
