The six remaining Greer Idol contestants performed their full schedule of songs on the next to last week of Tunes in the Park on Friday night.

Three contestants will be eliminated in voting with the finalists announced next Wednesday.

Next Friday’s Tunes in the Park will award the 2016 Greer Idol champion. Encore will perform to end this year’s summer band schedule.

Rain almost forced a second consecutive week for Tunes in the Park to be cancelled. The rain let up and the singers and Jim Quick and Coastline squeezed in their performances. The people who did show up weathered the rain with large umbrellas and the stage had puddles where the entertainers performed.

Ronnie Teems, the 2015 Greer Idol champion, performed Friday evening.

The final six Idol contestants who performed Friday were:

Lovell Waters

Andrew Webb

Olivia Wells
