Marshall and Leon began singing gospel at an early age when their father formed a singing group that included their older brother Albert.
The James brothers organized a prison ministry in Lyman that remains active in their community of Lyman. They have collected used bicycles, painted and repaired each one and organized a program for children in need. They perform regularly in community events.
Their gospel music and storytelling represent an old-school style of singing that features harmonies, call-and-response, and shouts and praise in a capella style. They incorporate elements of rhythm and blues and doo-wop.
