Sgt. Chad Richardson, who has organized the seminar, said the class originated with the proliferation of meth labs found operating in leased housing and businesses. “The landlords and tenants probably don’t know what steps to take and their responsibility if they come upon suspicious activity,” Richardson said. “There is a lot of cost involved in the cleanup after we shut down a meth operation. This is an educational seminar to let people know who to ask for help or questions they may have.”
Greer attorney Brian Martin and officers from narcotics and codes enforcement will make presentations and be available for questions and answers.
