Bree Boyce, 2011 Miss South Carolina, and Caitlen Patton, 2011 Miss South Carolina Teen will end their reign with the crowning of their successors Saturday night at Township Auditorium in Columbia.
Greer has two queens that are considered favorites based on their top five finishes last year. Lauren Cabaniss was third runner-up in the Miss South Carolina contest last year. She won the overall swimsuit competition. Cabaniss has represented Miss Greater Greer twice in the teen competition.
Sydney Sill was second runner-up last year as Miss Teen and won overall sportswear and physical fitness in her preliminary.
The Miss Greater Greer queens begin pageant official pageant judging Tuesday morning with their interviews with judges. Afterwards they will fine tune group numbers with stage competitions Tuesday evening.
Cabaniss has swimsuit and evening gown competition Tuesday, talent Wednesday and on stage questions Thursday. Sill, in the same grouping, has her physical fitness preliminary Tuesday, talent on Wednesday and evening gown on Thursday. Friday is the annual gala and Saturday is the finals.
