The person is described as a white male, 30-40 years of age, 6-foot-5 inches, 240-300 pounds and balding. He was wearing khaki pants, an olive green T-shirt and NIKE tennis shoes.
Police reported the suspect wore a knee brace on his left leg and walked with a limp.
The person selected a Porter Cable Cordless Combo Kit and a Kobalt Brushless Motor Cordless Combo Kit, placed the items in a cart and attempted to flee through the garden side exit. The value of the items was listed at $448, according to the police report.
Upon passing all points of sale without rendering payment, a Lowe’s loss prevention associate attempted to stop the subject but was confronted non-verbally with a red box cutter, according to the police.
The subject continued with the cart to a 2000 Honda Accord 4 door with tinted windows and a SC 45 day paper tag. The police report stated another person was in the vehicle and the trunk was open.
The incident took place on June 16 at 3:05 p.m., according to the police report.
