There’s good news from the Greer city finance team.
The city will not have to borrow for a tax anticipation note (TAN) for the first time in City Administrator Ed Driggers’ tenure in Greer.
More than 500,000 square feet, 80 percent of available space, has already been leased at Caliber Ridge Industrial Park.
In essence Liberty Property Trust can’t build the fourth, 156,000 square foot, warehouse fast enough for occupancy. Grading has begun and Harper Corporation is constructing the building for an April 2015 occupancy.
