Gold’s Gym is opening a fitness center in Greer.
The $3.6 million, 38,985-square-foot fitness center will be located in the vacated former Bloom grocery store at 1207 West Wade Hampton Blvd.
Dr. Amy Crockett, a maternal-fetal medicine physician with Greenville Health System, was named the winner of the prestigious John P. McNulty Prize for her leadership in reducing preterm births in South Carolina by expanding access to CenteringPregnancy group prenatal care.

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and UnitedHealthcare have reached a two-year agreement that will keep all SRHS hospitals and physicians in UHC’s network for commercial and Medicare Advantage health plans.
The new contract was effective Oct. 15 ensuring members enrolled in UHC employer-sponsored plans do not experience any interruption in their in-network benefits coverage for services received at SRHS hospitals or physicians.
