The Greer Yellow Jackets hope 2015 is the year they finally take the next step towards their goal of a 3A state championship.
With a talented host of experienced players returning from last year's 11-1 team, Greer looks primed to make a deep run into the playoffs this fall. Seniors Mario Cusano, quarterback, and Dorian Lindsey, wide receiver, lead the way for the Yellow Jackets. Running back Adrian McGee had a terrific spring game.
Communities In Schools of Greenville received a $2,500 donation from the Greer State Bank Foundation.
The donation will help students at Chandler Creek Elementary and Greer Middle School to engage in the Greer community, develop real-world academic skills, and to serve others through volunteer projects.
