Absentee voting for residents who will be out of town on the South Carolina presidential primary selection days may participate by voting an absentee ballot. Absentee voting is underway.
The Republican Party primary is Saturday Feb. 20 and the Democratic Party primary is Feb. 27.
In person absentee voting has started for Greenville County. Voters may vote absentee if going out of town or if they qualify by age (65 and older), disability or other qualifying reason.
Absentee voting is available for Greenville County voters at the Greenville County Board of Voter Registration Office at 301 University Ridge, Conference Room H.
If a voter needs to vote absentee by mail, they need to have an application sent to them and may call the office at 467-7264.
• County Square voting office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Saturday Feb. 13, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
• Extended hours Feb. 13 and 25 until 7 p.m.
• Saturday Feb. 20, 9 a.m. -1 p.m. (Democratic Party only).
• Saturday, Feb. 20, Republican Primary only, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., for voters properly registered in their precinct of residence.
• Saturday, Feb. 27, Democratic Primary only, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. for voters properly registered in their precinct of residence.
