The stage is set up at Trade and Victoria streets this year, in the middle of Restaurant Row and the merchants.
City signage to steer visitors to handicapped areas, restrooms and other local public areas are ready to be distributed.
Pepsi will be selling its products during all Tunes on Trade performances and at the Freedom Blast on June 30.
The 100 block features fine and family dining with the 200 block offering sandwich/coffee shops, a general store and The Shoppes at The Grapevine with more than 40 merchants featuring their crafts.
The intersection of Victoria and Trade is the meat of the sandwich. Tunes on Trade and Greer Idol and Teen Idol begin its season tonight at 6 p.m. with its new location facing the Depot.
Encore is the featured band, performing 7-10 p.m. Greer Idol’s sixth season showcases 14 performers and Idol Teen has a field of 8. The contestants sing their choice of music.
Greer Idol voting will take place tonight at Idol and via e-mail at GreerToday.com and click on the Greer Idol image. That will allow individuals to vote twice for the same performer.
Restaurants are offering 10 percent discounts between 6-7 p.m.
The event prohibits bringing in food, alcohol and pets.
