Fans lined up to support their favorite Idol.
The crowd came out as early at 5:30 p.m. to support the 6 p.m. Greer Idol Teen and Greer Idol competition.
Jim Quick and the Coastline Band headlined the evening with shaggers, dancers and spectators at the Greer City Park amphitheater.
It was a night of reflection with singers challenging themselves with hits from the 70s and 80s.
Both teen and Idol singers sang songs from both eras.

The third round of Greer Idol is Friday, July 18 with Teen Idol at 6 p.m. and Idol at 8 p.m. The Carolina Coast Band plays sets at 7 and 9 p.m.
