Although she loved her family and friends, she longed to go to her
Heavenly Home and was reunited with her beloved, husband, John, in addition to other family members.

Born in Greenwood, Mary was the daughter of the late James Edward Sweezy and Sallie Hoxit Sweezy.

She was a beloved mother, Mimi, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved of her family dearly.

Mary was a charter member of Praise Cathedral.

Keels was a retired Southern Baptist Minister having served the following churches: Spears Creek Baptist Church, Columbia; Ashley Heights Baptist Church, North Charleston; Hopewell Baptist Church, Parkers Ferry, South Carolina; Cheraw Baptist Church, Cheraw; First Baptist Church, Morrisville, North Carolina; Clearview Baptist Church, Charleston; Westside Baptist Church, Greenwood; Rosewood Baptist Church, Columbia; Cornerstone Baptist Church, St. Cloud, Florida; and Abner Creek Baptist Church, Greer.

He was the founder of Frank Keels Evangelistic Association, served on the Board of South Carolina Baptist Convention and Greer Baptist Association.

Rev. Keels served as an International Missionary in Africa, Indonesia, Korea and Russia.

He was a member of Burnsview Baptist Church, Greer.

She was a daughter of the late William H. and Dorothy Hix Newell, a housewife, was of the Baptist faith, and served as hostess for First Baptist Church of Greer for many years.

Angeline was a friend to all and an avid tennis player.
