A native of Anderson County, he was a son of the late Wilburn Dendy Owens Sr. and Lois Maxwell Owens. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War, a retired Staff Manager of Liberty Life Insurance Company, a life member of Bailey Masonic Lodge #146 and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Kimberly Stetson

November 24, 2018 - Kimberly "Kim" Dawn Stetson, 47, of Lyman, SC, formerly of Greenfield, MA, passed away at Greenville Memorial Hospital on November 24, 2018, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Kim was born on March 13, 1971, she grew up in Greenfield Gardens and attended Four Corners and David Street Elementary Schools, Greenfield Middle School and Greenfield High School.

Kim worked in Greenfield at Foster's Supermarket and Ames Department Store, as well as for Hulmes Transportation and The Association for Community Living.

Kim is fondly remembered by many in the community for her kindness, generosity and cheerfulness, her quick wit and her beautiful smile. Many knew Kim as creative and talented crafts-person and accomplished sewer; her artistic gifts continue to grace the households of many who loved her.

Kim relocated to Lyman, SC in 2008.

Kim was a devout member of Fairview Baptist Church in Greer, SC and will be dearly missed by her fellow congregants.

Kim worked for several years in the deli department at Bi-Lo Grocery #5297, where she made friends with many of her colleagues and members of the community.

Kim was an avid online gamer, and had many friends and acquaintances worldwide who will miss her wit and humor as well.

For the last 18 years, Craig has been a key member of ScanSource and their Catalyst division. He was very active with the ScanSource partner community in the telecommunications space in North America. He served on many partner council groups and boards including the North America Association of Telecommunications Dealers, Comp TIA Channel Advisory Board on Convergence, led ScanSource Partner Engagement Groups, and led charity efforts for the John Black Invitational Golf Tournament in honor of his late mentor, Mr. Black.

Wlliam 'Billy' Wood

November 19, 2018 - William A. "Billy" Wood, 51, passed away Nov. 19, 2018 at Greer Memorial Hospital.

A native of Greer, he was the son of Martha McMahan Wood of Campobello and the late Benjamin "Benny" Preston Wood and attended the Patrick Center of Greenville. He was a wonderful person even with his disabilities. He never met a stranger.

Gladly he did not have to suffer as he had cancer. He will be missed by all that knew him.

November 10, 2018 - Mary Frances Stevenson Jenkins, 90, of 117 Pine Street, widow of William Earl Jenkins, died November 10, 2018 at Oakleaf Village. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by one son, Richard Lamar Jenkins and his wife, Barbara Jenkins; one sister, Evelyn Stevenson Etheredge; two brothers, Hugh Allen Stevenson and Charles Phillip Stevenson.

Born in Blue Ridge, GA., daughter of the late Richard Allen Stevenson and Essie Lenora Griffin Stevenson, she was a retired Greenville County Health Department employee.

Mary was a volunteer at Greer Relief and a driver for Greer Community Ministries Meals on Wheels. She was a Sunday School teacher at Greer First Baptist Church and a member of the Sanctuary Choir and WMU.

Mary was a loving mother, devoted wife and loved The Lord with all her heart, a love she passed on to others. She was a gardener, devoted "Jeopardy!" fan and wore her Clemson orange proudly.
