Doris was born and raised in Rosenhayn, New Jersey, daughter of the late Nicholas and Frances (Peraset) Chipola, she was a retired employee of South Jersey Clothing Co. where she made military clothing.
Doris was known for bowling, gardening, loved cooking, baking, playing Pinochle with her friends, spending time in Florida, and enjoyed taking care of her sons Doberman?'. But most of all she loved being surrounded by her family and grandkids.

Geraldine "Gerry" Thompson Lynn Lunsford, 96, of Augusta, Georgia, formerly of Greenville and Greer, SC, passed away at the home of her daughter in Augusta, Georgia on January 26, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Myrtice Willis Thompson McEntire and Gerald Thompson. She enjoyed Christian life and fellowship at Fairview Baptist Church as a lifelong member.
Gerry was married to Rudford "Rud" Lynn for 53 years until his death and years later married Don Lunsford until his death in 2007.
She will be fondly remembered as Valedictorian of Mountain View High School Graduating Class of 1944.
Gerry was also predeceased by her son, Tommy Lynn.
