The scene was secure when police arrived. The department’s Emergency Response Team and Crisis Negotiations Team were called to the scene.
The ERT team was able to safely remove two individuals from the townhome. The CNT team attempted to make contact with the remaining occupants, but after several hours with no response, the ERT team entered the townhome and located two deceased individuals.
The police said the the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office is assisting with the investigation.
