Artists get full day of workshops and demonstrations
“Carolina Artists Create: Getting Back to Nature H2,” a day of  workshops and demonstrations for artists and photographers, will be held June 1, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Hollywild Animal Park and Hatcher Garden & Woodland Preserve.

Workshops and demonstrations in photography, painting, jewelry making and pottery will be held throughout the day at both locations. Hatcher Garden offers flowers, trees, streams and the picturesque cypress pond while at Hollywild the safari, and exotic animals, waterfall and ponds offer creative inspiration.

Artists presenting workshops/demonstrations include:  Mike and Amy Wojeck, Richard Avakian, Dick Carr, Amy Clifton (photography); Pamela Brown Caldwell, Dwight Rose, Clive Haynes, Isabel Forbes (painting); Jim Cullen, Tina Gragg (pottery); and Linda Holcombe, Rosemary McCloud, Laurie Haynie (jewelry making/beadwork).

Participants will be divided into two groups with each spending half the day at each location, with lunch at Hatcher Garden from noon until 2 p.m.

The $125 registration fee includes a full day of workshops and demonstrations by artists, a boxed lunch and a free admission pass to return to Hollywild.
