S. C. STATE PORTS AUTHORITY
On or about February 8, 2016, plans and specifications for Site Operations Center at BMW Facility – Landscaping, Spartanburg County, South Carolina, will be available for distribution to qualified contractors by the South Carolina Ports Authority.
A pre-bid conference will be held February 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM, at the BMW Site Operations Center Parking Lot, located at 1400 Highway 101, Spartanburg County, SC.
There will be a public opening of bids received at the South Carolina Inland Port Terminal, 100 International Commerce Boulevard, Greer, South Carolina, at 11:00 a.m., on March 9, 2016. Instructions for submitting a Bid are included in the specifications.
The work includes the construction of hardscape, fine grading, and softscape around an approximate 60,000 square foot, three story, office building and surrounding parking lot. The work specifically includes a pedestrian promenade, a formal entry to the building, a bus drop off, a fire lane, and the planting surrounding the office building as well as parking islands.
Interested parties may download, at no cost, the Plans and Specifications from the South Carolina State Ports Authority's Legal Notices website ( www.scspa-notices.com ). Hardcopies of the Plans and Specifications will not be provided by the Authority.
Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for twenty percent (20%) of the Base Bid. One hundred percent (100%) labor and material bond and one hundred percent (100%) performance bond will be required. The bidder shall have a current contractor's license for the State of South Carolina.
The South Carolina State Ports Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to accept any Bid if considered best for its interest.
