Jim is founder and a partner in GreerToday.com, a daily news medium (24/7/365) serving the Greater Greer area. Jim attended Furman University and worked most of his career at the Spartanburg Herald-Journal (a New York Times company) as Sports Editor and Business Editor. He was co-founder of the New York Times Regional Sports Group consisting of 14 properties and planned and staffed major event coverage including Winter and Summer Olympics and all major sports. His Sports section was recognized as one of the best in the country in its circulation and the staff’s football previews were annually among the top 10. Jim has received national recognition for his Sports4Kids staff produced section, producing a daily Braille sports section for the Pan American Games for the Blind staff and participants, and introducing other innovative practices in the media.
He has also produced regional sports seminars, awards programs and, with his wife, Gloria a Fantasy Figure Skating Camp with Olympic and World competitors and the Greenville premiere for “Leatherheads”.
Jim is a member of the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce and Greer Station Association. He lives in Greer.
Gloria is co-owner of BussFair Creative Consultants, a publications/website firm that has produced media presentations, websites and events for Olympic, World and national athletes and Broadway shows. She is a graduate of Western Carolina University majoring in Spanish and French. Gloria previously worked at the Spartanburg Herald-Journal (a New York Times Company) as News Editor and Special Projects Editor. Gloria led the newspaper to several General Excellence awards and has won many state and national writing and editing awards.
She specializes in small business public relations and web sites where she lives in Greer, South Carolina. She has also co-produced, with her husband, Jim, a Fantasy Figure Skating Camp with Olympic and World competitors and the Greenville premiere for “Leatherheads”. Gloria participates on boards serving the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce and the Waterford Park Homeowners Association.
Bart is an Adjunct English instructor at the University of South Carolina Upstate. He is a graduate of USC Upstate with a B.A. in English Literature with a minor in History. Bart has a M.A. in English Literature from Xavier University and he is pursuing a PhD program. He produces entertainment news, features and columns for GreerToday.com. He writes weekly reviews of sequential art/graphic novels for chud.com and writes articles and opinion-editorials for the entertainment industry. Bart enjoys community service with Habitat for Humanity and Greenville County Animal Care.

Julie first started visiting Greer in 1988 and moved here in 1994 after falling in love with the community, the history and everything this area has to offer.
She has over 23 years of artistic and quality experience, including graphic and design, color separation within textiles and home interior products, website photography and ad design.
Julie is a graphic engineer, professionally trained water colorist, and enjoys pencil and charcoal portraiture.
Her love of sports and her children led her to photography as a profession. She started her photography business in 2007 and ventured into photojournalism in the media in 2009. Her portfolio includes printed advertising and website photography, sports action and team photography, fine art, portraiture, sports and events journalism.
Julie and her husband actively support the Syl Syl toy drive, Dreamnight Event at the Greenville Zoo, Lungs4Life5k, Susan G. Komen Race for the cure, and all things supporting Greer High, Greer Middle and Crestview schools.
Julie and her family attend Freedom Fellowship Church in Greer.
