Blue Ridge HS Future Farmers even is April 21

The Blue Ridge High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapter will host the 16th Annual Farm Day on Saturday, April 21, from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the historic Lindsey Plantation.

The Lindsey Plantation, 750 Camp Creek Road,Taylors was established in the 1830s. It is a commercial beef cattle and hay production operation. The event offers the public the opportunity to enjoy an outdoor experience designed to spotlight the economic importance and historic significance of Greenville County Agriculture.

A display of 21st century agricultural equipment, antique farm machinery and farm animals will highlight the event.  Other activities include hayrides, music, games for the children, a BBQ lunch and the FFA-sponsored spring flowering plant sale.
