The tournament opens Thursday and rotates three courses – Thornblade Club, Green Valley Country Club and The Reserve at Lake Keowee – until Sunday’s final round at Thornblade.
After 54 holes, the 10 lowest scoring pro-am teams, six lowest scoring celebrity pro-am teams and 65 low Web.com Tour pros (and ties) will advance to play the final round.
The Professional winner will take home $117,000 from the total purse of $650,000. The 10 lowest scoring amateurs (non-celebrities) will compete for a share of the $16,000 Kentwool Charity Purse. Amateurs’ winnings will be donated to the tournament beneficiary of their choice, chosen from the 2014 list of 25 organizations.

Thornblade
Actress Debbe Dunning is best known for her role as “Tool Time Girl”Heidi Keppert on the ABC sitcom “Home Improvement,”which she played for six seasons. Other TV and film credits include appearances on “Married With Children,”“Baywatch”and “Silk Stalkings.”This will be Dunning’s first time participating in the tournament.
Actor Greg Ellis is best remembered for his portrayal of Michael Amador the virus broker in season 3 of the award-winning Fox drama “24” and for his portrayal of Lieutenant Groves in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies. Other television credits include series regular, recurring and guest starring roles on shows such as “CSI: Las Vegas,” “The X-Files” and “Bones.”This will be Ellis’s second time participating in the tournament.
Richard Karn is perhaps best known for his role as Al Borland on the hit sitcom “Home Improvement.”Most recently, Karn held a guest role on ABC’s “Last Man Standing,”where he was united with his “Home Improvement”co-star Tim Allen. This will be Karn’s first time participating in the tournament.
Actor Danny Masterson is well known for his role as Steven Hyde in FOX’s “That ‘70s Show.”Recently, he starred in the TBS series “Men At Work.” This will be Masterson’s third appearance.
Actor Jordan Masterson can currently be seen on ABC’s “Last Man Standing.”He is also known for his role as Mark in the 2005 film “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” and his recurring role as Dumptruck in ABC Family comedy-drama series “Greek.”This will be Masterson’s first time playing in the tournament.
Actor Rob Morrow (“Northern Exposure”, (“Numb3rs”) is best known for his portrayal of Don Eppes on “Numb3rs” and as Dr. Joel Fleischman on “Northern Exposure”.
Actor Michael Pena is perhaps best known for his role in “Shooter” alongside Mark Wahlberg. Other films include “Gangster Squad,”“Crash,” “World Trade Center,” “Observe and Report,” “30 Minutes or Less,” “Tower Heist,” and “End of Watch.” This will be Pena’s sixth time playing in the tournament.
Actor Richard Schiff has had a recurring role in “The West Wing”. He was cast by Steven Spielberg in “The Lost World: Jurassic Park”.
Green Valley Country Club
Steve Azar is a country music artist. His biggest hit, “I Don’t Have To Be Me (Til Monday),” is from his album “Waitin’ On Joe.” Azar’s other albums include “Heartbreak Town,” “Indianola” and “Slide On Over Here.” This is Azar’s sixth tournament appearance.
Comedian and actor Bill Engvall is best known for his work as a stand-up comic, his signature "Here's Your Sign" bit, and as a member of the Blue Collar Comedy group. Engvall has appeared in his own TV show, “The Bill Engvall Show,”and has had guest appearances on other shows including “The Jeff Foxworthy Show,”“Hawthorne and Bounty Hunters.”This will be Engvall’s first time participating in the tournament.
Wayne Gretzky is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and former head coach. He played 20 seasons in the NHL for four teams 1979-1999. Nicknamed "The Great One", he has been called "the greatest hockey player ever” by many players, the NHL and media. He is the leading point-scorer in NHL history, with more assists than any other player has points, and is the only NHL player to total over 200 points in one season – a feat he accomplished four times. At the time of his retirement in 1999, he held 61 NHJL records, 40 regular season records, 15 playoff records and six All-Star records.
Janet Jones-Gretzky performed in “Annie” (1982), in “Staying Alive” (1983) and “Snow White Live (1980) Her big break came in “The Flamingo Kid” (1984) and was followed by “A Chorus Line” (1985). Other credits include “Police Academy 5: Assignment Miami Beach” (1988), and “A League of Their Own” (1992).
Ty Gretzky son of Wayne, skated briefly for a team at Chelsea Piers in New York while his father played for the New York Rangers and he lived with his father in Phoenix and had 24 goals and 37 points in 16 games for the Brophy College Preparatory junior varsity team.
Actor and TV personality John O’Hurley is well known for the role of J. Peterman on the NBC sitcom “Seinfeld” and was host of the game show “Family Feud” from 2006 to 2010. O’Hurley has been the host of Purina's annual National Dog Show every Thanksgiving since 2002, and he was also a contestant on the first season of the hit show “Dancing with the Stars.” This will be O’Hurley’s seventh time participating in the tournament.
Actor Gregory Itzin (“24”) is best known for his role as disgraced U.S. President Charles Logan in the television series. He has held recurring roles on “Friends” as Theodore Hannigan, “Murder One”, “NCIS” and “The Mentalist”. Itzin has played five different roles in the “Star Trek” series He is also a frequent Star Trek actor, having played five different roles in the various series over the years.
Actress Paula Trickey starred in the USA Network series “Pacific Blue” and also had recurring roles on shows such as “The O.C.,” “Beverly Hills,” “90210” and “Walker, Texas Ranger.” This is Trickey’s fifth time participating in the tournament.
