Sir Hamilton was the pick of the litter as Pet Idol Tuesday night as the pet most representative of abandoned and stray dogs to adopt wayward canines.

Jessica Monroe, of Saved by the Heart!” has made it a routine visit for dogs to be showcased on Tuesdays on Trade, a Greer Station Association promotion.

The dogs were dressed, cuddled and walked the sidewalks downtown with no growling or barking showing disrespect to patrons of restaurants and shops.

Jameson won second place, Bailey Grace third place and Raja was honorable mention. Dogs like Matilda found their outfits or painted toenails just a little short of capturing the love from the majority of voters.

Dogs and their owners earned a variety of prizes donated by event sponsors. Dog food donations were accepted.
