A fireworks display will cap a full day of music, rides, games and Lyman Idol Saturday. The annual event draws thousands to festival.
The Lyman Fest is scheduled Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. when a fireworks show will wrap up the festival.
Lyman and Middle Tyger Community Center are partnering this year to present a mix of activities that are family friendly. A Kid Zone will include visits from Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Goofy. Rides, inflatables, all-day music and food vendors are scheduled.
Saturday’s schedule:
10:30 a.m. – Opening ceremonies
11:15 a.m. – Dave Effler and Southern Country
12:45 p.m. – Millbilly Blues
1:45 p.m. – Residential Sprinkler live fire demonstration
2:30 p.m. – Shag Doctors
5:30 p.m. – Instajam
7 p.m. – Lyman Idol
9 p.m. – Fireworks
