Barbara Ann Taylor Parris, 86, wife of the late Gary W. Parris, moved into her heavenly home September 17, 2023.

A native of Greer, SC, daughter of the late Mamie Taylor, she worked as a seamstress for Greer Shirt Plant for many years and went on to retire from Hamrick?s of Gaffney, SC.

Mrs. Parris loved reading and square dancing in her spare time and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are her children, Chuck Lindsey (Pam), Sonny Lindsey, and JoAnne Lindsey all of Greer, SC; three grandchildren, Luci Hall of Campobello, SC, Casey Turner of Greer, SC, and Justin Glossner of Columbia, SC; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild, Waylon Brooks DeYoung.

Funeral Services:

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Hillcrest Memory Gardens conducted by Rev. Jerry James and Pastor Jason Foreman.

Visitation will be held 6 -8 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at The Wood Mortuary.

The family will be at the home.
