Betty Hooper Tollison, 88, widow of James Maurice Tollison, passed away April 1, 2018.
A native of Spencer, North Carolina, daughter of the late Thomas Starling and Ella Corinthia Savage Hooper, she was a retired employee of Dillards and a member of Covenant United Methodist Church.
Surviving:
Surviving are two daughters, Betsy Hudson (Fred) of Greer and Pat Dodd (Ronnie) of Gastonia; a brother, Gary Hooper (Nancy) of Powdersville; four grandchildren, Jennifer Hudson, Joey Hudson, Ashley Samuelson and Stacy Sams; and two great-grandchildren, Taylor Hudson and Austin Sams.
Funeral Services:
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Covenant United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Linda Guthrie and Rev. Darren Hook.
Visitation will be held 1-1:45 p.m. Thursday at the church.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Betsy Hudson.
