Mary Cathryn Ramey, 42, of 310 Chandler Road, died August 9, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A native of Greenville County, she was a daughter of Johnny Wayne Gilstrap (Debbie) of Cedar Hill, TN. and Freda Hawkins Barton (Bobby) of Greer, an employee of Henry-Shien Medical Supply Company, and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving also are her husband, Christopher (Chris) of the home and her daughter, Elizabeth Ramey of the home; a son, Joshua Whaley of Greer; her maternal grandmother, Cathryn Hawkins of Greer; two brothers, Sgt Maj. .Kerry Gilstrap (Laurie) of Stafford, VA. and Carroll Gilstrap of Ardmore, OK.; a sister, Cindy Miller (Marty) of Greer; her mother-in-law, Sandy Gilbert of Travelers Rest and paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Seymore of Travelers Rest, S.C.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Sheila and Sherry Gilstrap; grandfathers, Fred Hawkins, and John Gilstrap; and grandparents, Sue and Carl Coggins.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the Wood Mortuary chapel, conducted by Rev. Tim Huckabee and Cathy Howell.
Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
Family is at the home of Freda and Bob Barton, 309 Hillcrest Drive, Greer, SC.
